FAQ’s

Do you take Medicare?

No, I do not. However, many clients choose to pay cash for our sessions and submit the superbill I send via email for reimbursement from your medicare insurance carrier.

My medicaid insurance carrier lists you as a provider but I do not see my insurance on your list. How can I get in to see you.

Unfortunately you cannot. I did not renew my credential with medicaid and I am no longer taking medicaid clients. I have a few clients who are still on my caseload but I will eventually refer them to other providers.

I don’t see any available sessions, do you have a waitlist?

I do not keep a waitlist. your best option is to keep checking for appointments through the links on my webpage menu.  You are welcome to leave me a phone message but if my caseload is full, I will not have time to return your call.

Why can’t I get any counselor’s to return my call?

Most counselor’s in our area are self-employed. That means they not only see clients, they do their own billing, trouble shoot insurance challenges, keep extensive notes and provide incidental care as needed for the clients they already see. None of these counselor’s can afford a receptionist and have very little extra time for returning phone calls (unless they have openings). If you do not hear back, they are not intending to be rude, they are just focusing their energy on the clients they already have.
